an it’s raw, it’s angry, it’s all in your face, and that’s what makes it so attractive. it’s not often that I come across an album that pulls me in this hard on the first track Favorite track: Concubine.

    Spinebrain thumbnail
Spinebrain This is one of the finest concurrent melodic black metal albums. Hoping there is a sequel to this. Favorite track: A Journey Through Storms.
    Harold N’Hiver thumbnail
Harold N’Hiver Absolutely incredible. This revives my belief in the power of the almighty RIFF to heal the world of the evil fucking sorcery so prevalent in all sectors of society. Favorite track: A Journey Through Storms.
    Archmage Orladin thumbnail
Archmage Orladin What a find...What can I say...it's just FUN. This album is completely unpretentious fun. Fantastic. Reminds me of the one man band from Malta "Apotheosis". Hearkens back to the late 90's without being stale or derivative.

My ONLY criticism of this album is that I think the guitars are a tad too low/quiet in the mix. Some of the tremolo picking/riffs/leads sound a little too buried under the drums and keyboard...Phenomenal debut, otherwise. Favorite track: The Serpent's Stone.

    wackabi thumbnail
wackabi This might be THE best voice in todays black metal. IMHO
    RJ thumbnail
RJ Blackbraid came storming onto scene seemingly out of nowhere in 2022 and since then have released 3 exceptional melodic black metal albums (as of 2025). A powerful performance with some of the best production you can ask for. Let’s hope this absurdly prolific and consistent project continues for a long time. 9/10 Favorite track: The Dying Breath of a Sacred Stag.
    KAMINARIハウス thumbnail
KAMINARIハウス This album is incredible in every way, so much so that I can't pick a favorite track yet. Indigenous Black Metal is something I didn't know existed, as well as something the BM scene desperately needs more of. Hails to Blackbraid\m/
