barockhaus Ich frage mich: warum habe ich das erst jetzt entdeckt? Eine mega klasse sound landscape gepaart mit einer einnehmenden und markanten Stimme. Das Ergebnis: einfach umwerfend.
    RJ thumbnail
RJ I first heard ERR when she collaborated with Thou on ‘May Our Chambers Be Full’ (which if you haven’t checked out I would highly recommend you do so) and was immediately drawn into her melancholic, folksy, gravely vocals. ‘On Dark Horses’ is an excellent cathartic expression of electric neofolk and post rock that I can’t stop listening to. 9/10 Favorite track: Races.
    NopeFace thumbnail
NopeFace Darkhorse changed my life. for the better. I've never cried so hard for a song, for a couple lines to come so close to that feeling, and to let that same song put me back together again. Thank you Emma. Favorite track: Darkhorse.

    focang thumbnail
focang celtic twilight. I dont think there's anything untraditional about "occult horror" the way it’s done here. I think just maybe the hills and mists of Wales are shimmering with this music. To me it seems she's moving in the right direction, tech to more and more of a luddite. It shows in this album Favorite track: Champion Ivy.
    D. Gwalia thumbnail
    D. Gwalia Because it does something impossible - it gives the guitar a unique new voice after all these centuries, a new star shining in the firmament, scattering antique rays at light-speed, until finally reaching our eyes, and ears...Highly cinematic.

thecombinatorax Turns (the song, in particular) is precisely the music I wish I could write. It has a melancholic/introspective feel while still having drive behind it. Favorite track: Turns.
    Spirovision thumbnail
Spirovision OH my!....Such a beautiful made album! Cinematic beauty! Love this!
    Joe Borreson thumbnail
Joe Borreson In the vast plethora of musicians out there, where so many sound the same, what Andy creates is absolutely phenomenal and incredibly unique. Armed with a 12 string steel, and percussion (with the help of William Ryan Fritch on bowed & stand up bass on a few tracks this round) it all adds up to make this an album that truly is beyond words: Wondrous & dreamlike come close though. helpfulbandit thumbnail
helpfulbandit BoC's most popular album before Inferno. A mysterious yet fun album. Some of it's most beautiful melodies are locked away in reverse. Nevertheless is delivers a great experience that remains well produced. It comes across as one of the most modern BoC albums in their whole context. Favorite track: Dawn Chorus.
    nokkio thumbnail
nokkio this actually has to be top ten albums in the world. boc is so goated Favorite track: Julie And Candy.
    SLADESNAKE thumbnail
SLADESNAKE I can't believe an album like this exists. Going from the hidden messaging whether they admit it or not. This is a perfect album to me and is transcends anything else they've made, it feels like a spiritual experience listening to this album. Can't really go in depth but this is a perfect album and this is a must listen to. Favorite track: Over The Horizon Radar.
