Rebecca Hosking Mavis Staples is a 'staple' of the gospel r'n'b scene, and rarely puts a foot wrong. This collaboration with Son Little brings a fresh vibe to some soulful lyrics. I only wish that there was more than 4 tracks. Favorite track: See That My Grave Is Kept Clean.

    by Young Oceans
    featured track 00:00/00:00
    Cutting Through Cutting Through
    supported by
    JaSonofGod thumbnail
JaSonofGod All of the elements that YO fans have enjoyed in their previous albums are included in this most recent offering. However, the incredible synthesis of folk and indie-pop instrumentation and beautiful lyrical content has set it apart. These songs are not so much of a longing for, but rather, an expression of the feeling one gets after having taken hold of the reality of God's love. One gets the sense of having arrived at a place far-removed from the chaos of our culture while listening to this. Favorite track: Every Step.
    brinnybecca thumbnail
brinnybecca Eric, thank you for sharing this beautiful collection first on Bandcamp…there is something so precious and unearthed that to share Dandelion Days with someone I must take it to them and listen with them. The entire album is accompanying me these days; I had the opportunity to partner with a foster teen camp and take senior portraits for them…my digital dark room nights developed under Love Like Raindrops Made of Light. Many hours I prayed the lyrics of Dandelion Days over those teens. Favorite track: Nothing Impossible.
    Delavegabliss thumbnail
Delavegabliss Young Oceans is one of my favorite artists. I love Eric’s dreamy, lush production, his emotive melodies & his intimate lyrics of love. “Cutting Through” ministered to me in a season full of sin & apathy for God. I felt God encounter me with his love & cut through to me. Thank you Eric for this song & this album! Favorite track: Cutting Through.
