Dork Together with Subtype Zero, to me at least High Command is the future of thrash/crossover. Where is that full-length?
    Televiper thumbnail
Televiper Lets the hammer fall on two scorching crossover thrash tunes that harken back to all your favorite ancient styles without tipping over into retro-clone imitation.

    Sælzer Bub thumbnail
Sælzer Bub One of my favorite bands and definitely one of the best live bands i‘ve ever seen. This is old school heavy metal. Don‘t miss it! Favorite track: Beautiful Distraction.
    Joe "Scrake" Donovan thumbnail
Joe "Scrake" Donovan Hopelessly in love with the title track. Such a beautiful combination of melodic mastery and pretty lyrics. Favorite track: Beautiful Distraction.
    Barry_Nyle thumbnail
Barry_Nyle The riffage is alive with this one. Haunts guitar led attack never waivers on this, throughout beautiful melody and harmony driven records with the straightforward stoner delivery of vocals. The music is alive with imagery that is evocative of Dio in epic descriptors and lyrical content. This is an album to be enjoyed by head bangers from Motörhead to Crüe, Maiden to ratt, the clash to Saxon, hard music fans will have something to chew on. Love the playing man, shred on!

    herrschobel thumbnail
herrschobel deranged, murky and raw...the musical equivalent to an italian Zombie flick from the 70s...which i love...musically interesting enough to stand out from the pack. highly recommend for the connoisseur of grim Music with a twist.
    Doghouse Media thumbnail
Doghouse Media True Raw Old School Death metal. Favorite track: Vehement Indulgences.

    woodychat thumbnail
woodychat I wasn't sure what to expect, but this album is stellar. I especially love Microscopic Scenes, because the intro rocks and was not messed up. Favorite track: Microscopic Scenes.
    fuzzban thumbnail
fuzzban I sort of fell of from listening after "Waiting For A Miracle", so I was surprised to see a full length release pop up today. Incredibly impressed with the progression and expansion of the sound to a full band context. Keep on keeping on Favorite track: Cold Embrace.

    SULPHUR OMEGA SULPHUR OMEGA

    JT EXTREME thumbnail
JT EXTREME New Jersey. Death Metal. Joe Aversario. Loins ablaze for this absolute 2025 rager. OUGH!
    L.R. Kent thumbnail
L.R. Kent Siege Column's best work yet! Evil metal with a recording ethos that's raw, live and authentic. Sulphur Omega stands out as a genuine effort in the current metal landscape. OUGH!
Favorite track: LOCKED IN THE HELL OF DEATH.
    Ippocalyptica thumbnail
Ippocalyptica Anything from Aversario will always be an insta-purchase by me because of how amazing Death Fortress (RIP) was, but Siege Column stands on its own merits as, aptly described, “evil metal.” This is death metal that flirts with the edge of feral without ever quite slipping into bestial senselessness, and more importantly, sounds like it was made over 30 years ago, in the best way possible. There is nothing else like this in 2025. Sulphur Omega came to kick ass and chew gum, and is all out of gum! Favorite track: CHAINS OF SATAN.
    mcdingus2000 thumbnail
mcdingus2000 Tough to beat Revenge or Stygian Bough, but this is at least a top three 2025 album for me. Siege Column always ruled but the flat, demo-like production quality from earlier releases finally improves here, pouring fire on a powderkeg that was waiting to explode all along Favorite track: DUNGEON SPIRITUS.

*Side Effects May Include: MILD TO MODERATE DEATH* thumbnail
*Side Effects May Include: MILD TO MODERATE DEATH* I got the original Dirt album back in 92, 12 years old. It’s difficult to cover the best band ever…but they did it!!! So many great tracks. Great job by the bands! I actually like Sickman better than the original. 😎 Favorite track: Somnuri - Dirt.
    Dumb mmmn thumbnail
Dumb mmmn i think the first time i heard this album, i was down at the 7-11 looking for Now N'Later or Jolly Rancher delicacies. the cool kid had this blaring from his dad's Taurus. he had an extra beer and we spent time reminiscing on chicks, how much we knew about the universe and how, if we wanted to, we could've written songs like this
