   Emery beautiful mix of hope and mourning, grace and sadness, longing and love. Favorite track: Glint of a Gleaming Shore (Home).

   

   Mandolintower Much like Compendium Reliquiae, this album hits me hard. The melodies are all beautiful, catchy, and distinct from one another, but the album has a level of seamless cohesion I seldom hear. There's not a single weak track. It's also the perfect length and doesn't outstay it's welcome like some Dungeon Synth albums I know of. This may be my new favorite DIM album. As for my favorite track, I hate to jump to the single, but I can't get over that melody. Favorite track: Firefly Cathedral.

   Teej Just when I was saying to myself, “a new DIM album would fix me,” along comes Compendium V like the first warm breeze of Spring after a long, dark bummer of a Winter. Eternal hails!

   chief Look man, I've burned through a lot of dungeon synth. A lot. This one? Top of the heap. Not the haziest record on the shelf, nah. But who tells a story better? Nobody, friend. Every track drops you somewhere new. Valley folk. Cold stone air. Quiet crypts. You ain't just listening—you're standing in it. Daydream fuel. Put it on. Drift. Favorite track: The Boulder in the Shade.

   

   Emery amazing medieval ambiance for blacksmithing just outside the village square or gathering herbs to later heal ailing villagers

   

   Lonely Sentinel Like no other the album captures the sweet melancholy of exploring old, overgrown ruins from a time long past. Favorite track: The Boulder in the Shade.

   jäätikkö This is the first of DIM's releases that I came across and I've almost never bought something quicker after listening to the first few tracks. The melodies, instruments, and especially the trills in these tracks are unique and magical. Favorite track: Woods of Old.
