Easily one of my picks for 2024; they play a type of post punk, dub n indie, trip hop, downwave sort of thing and IMO it’s very good. It gets better the more I play it and has already become a firm favourite…
Favorite track: Umbrah.
Harrison Phinney
can’t wait to have another Blisks album in rotation. The first was a surprise discovery for me, and I look fwd to this expansion of a world of sound I’ve come to adore.

The titans of sludge metal is back. This might well be their best work yet. Heavy, massive, and at times hypnotic. This is the album to hold onto in these desperate times.
Favorite track: First Red Rays.

This feels like a new beginning, forget about everything, just focus on this....passion and honesty, bare your soul....ignore ridicule, or tags that try to define you.....a portrait of a world....what's next?

I have owned this digital release for some time but wanted to go back and support Jayn's project in the most positive, physical-release way possible. She's a triumphant and majestic executor of the doom-laden mantle of melancholy.
Favorite track: Hung.

What another great find on Bandcamp. This is some seriously haunting stuff.
Primitive sound with drums, guitars etc & a beautifully haunting voice. Incredibly powerful stuff indeed. One to definitely look out for in the future.

This just simply hits the spot. Though it isn't witch-rock, I can imagine a coven taking comfort in these songs in the 17th century. Jayn's voice and guitar frame it all in sadness and supernatural menace.
Favorite track: Foregone.
