    9RnK7 thumbnail
9RnK7 A unique mix of black metal and tech-death riffs. Really good guitar work throughout. The interlude tracks add to the atmosphere quite nicely. I'm proud to say these guys are from my state of North Carolina. Favorite track: The Moon Titan Phylon.

Shaun Hamilton Top notch ep! These guys were gone long before they got going good. Wishing for a reunion but know that isn't going to happen.

    ice.cauldron thumbnail
ice.cauldron A very reasonable amount of blast beats on this one.
FFO: nail bats and sniping people at close range Favorite track: DEATH BEFORE SURRENDER.
    eManRenaissanc thumbnail
eManRenaissanc Holy crap. I didn't really get war metal until I listened to this 50 times straight. The drumming is ridiculous.
    bloodfuck666 thumbnail
bloodfuck666 they don't have a single bad track, all killer no filler across the entire discography. Bludgeoning prehistoric spiked club warfare that transcends the futility of modern times. If you think this is good you should see them live. Favorite track: CEREMONIAL DISEMBOWELMENT.

telurienne The crown jewel of black metal Favorite track: Age of Excuse II.
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator I will not say my usual of who & what they are - everybody knows Mgla! I should have bought this years ago but I missed it because - yes... I really am that useless :| This is a totally epic & classic album that I cannot get enough of & has very few equals, except maybe their previous! Mgla are in a class of their own & they demonstrate this here once again in each & every song! Highly recommended!!!

    Slavesoul thumbnail
Slavesoul Hands down my fav BDM album. Scattered Remnants really knocked it out of the park here. it drips with Gothic angelic vibes. that are hard to explain but you know what i mean when you listen to it. Masterclass in BDM. Favorite track: At the Right Hand of Nothingness.
    fsbsupportacc thumbnail
fsbsupportacc OSBDM perfection. One of the best written and sounding BDM releases ever. Favorite track: Angelic Redemption.
    com1cd0nutman thumbnail
com1cd0nutman The final form of Scattered Remnants. All of their concepts since the demo days have been refined and put to tape here, on the greatest Brutal Death Metal album ever written. Skull Crushingly heavy, swallowing atmosphere, and still has beautiful melodies woven throughout the entire album. Nothing will EVER top this in terms of BDM, if not Death Metal as a whole.

    10/10. Favorite track: Angelic Redemption.

Amidst The Afterbirth Amidst The Afterbirth

    pulverizing_brains thumbnail
pulverizing_brains Easily some of the best of brutal death metal on this EP. This is what brutal death metal should sound like. Every song on here sounds like it is ripping you to shreds and theres nothing you can do about it. The intro of Amidst The Afterbirth immediately sets the vibe for the whole album. It's evil, its brutal, and it is RAW. If you're diving in to brutal death metal, Scattered Remnants is a must. Favorite track: Amidst The Afterbirth.
    iwillstrangleyou thumbnail
iwillstrangleyou This is one of, if not the greatest BDM Ep ever created Favorite track: Inherent Perversion.
    Calvin Coolidge thumbnail
Calvin Coolidge One of the most unique and brutal EPs I've ever heard. Favorite track: Amidst The Afterbirth.

    War Victims War Victims

    beheadtheprecinct thumbnail
beheadtheprecinct This is equally if not more brutal than the EP! Like a more straight forward Hellshock that doesn't let up for one second. Favorite track: Coldness of a Nuclear Age.
    activa44 thumbnail
activa44 I had this record in my wishlist for ages (probably since it came out) and I never listened to it, as with most of the stuff that ends in my wishlist.

Then at some point I had a chance to see them live and finally listened to it for some time before the gig.

I thought the band was a bit cold. Still, the riffs are there and the sound too. And it was a nice show anyway!

I'm curious to see where this band is heading! Support them!
    chickendemon thumbnail
chickendemon This album kicks fucking ass! Puts you right in the horrors of war with the horrific vocals and the aggressive guitar. Might be one of my favorite albums for when i wanna let out some aggression cause as i said this album kicks ass there is not a single even remotely bad song on this album. Favorite track: Unarmed and Helpless.
