    Benjamin Valentine thumbnail
Benjamin Valentine One AGAIN...stumbling across them in the youtube ether...or did the ether stumble across me? Whatever happened I am a massive fan. The best grooves right now with dirty bass, dirty funk and dirty ACIIIID!!!! Hats off to the next big thing from France. I hope they come to Tasmania and I hope they get what they deserve....check them out on youtube for heaps of funky driving sets in the garden and the loungeroom...I just want more. Favorite track: New Vendetta.

  2. The Cover Up (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
    by The Protomen
    supported by
    operaghostcam thumbnail
operaghostcam I would give up both my kidneys for another protomen cover album. Their versions of I Drove All Night, Mr. Roboto, In The Air Tonight, and The Trooper are my favourite versions of the songs Favorite track: I Drove All Night.
    Sprenzee thumbnail
Sprenzee This is the best cover album ever made. Stop, no, what you're thinking is wrong. That one you're thinking isn't it. It's this. I don't care! This is the one. I don't even like Celine Dion, but I'm shouting "I DROVE ALL NIIIIIIIIIIGHT" in my car. That's the magic of the Protomen. Favorite track: Danger Zone.
    burrito741 thumbnail
burrito741 The Silent Running cover is amazing, on par with Mike & The Mechanics's original, but in the wake of Act 3 I have to give it up for 'I Drove all Night'. It's so hard not to hear it as being the final postmortem piece for Light and Emily, Joe and 'Leave the Light On' Girl. Maybe Wily too, with the down tempo (aka lonelier) bit near the close's rapturous finale. And it manages to sound better than either of the original versions (Roy Orbenson's first-recorded v Cindy Lauper's first-released). Favorite track: I Drove All Night.

David Hutchison just thought id try these guys out.i liked his voice on 5he new revocation Favorite track: Terrasitic Adaptation.
    une_oreiller thumbnail
une_oreiller Terrasite feels like standing at the end of the world and finding peace in the ruin. The whole record breathes this strange, beautiful hopelessness, melancholic and furious at once. Songs like “The Insignificant” and “Scourge of the Offspring” hit with a mix of grief and release, where every guttural scream and minor chord becomes almost comforting. It’s not just metal, it’s the sound of accepting extinction and finding meaning in what’s left. Favorite track: The Insignificants.
