  1. Turned to Stone: Chapter 10: Ten East/Softsun

ramithefan The second track - Slow Motion War - Sound very familiar, almost like I heard it before! Really! It is like a dream... fascinating melodies and atmosphere. And Softsun sounds Fantastic - more pristine, but really heavy sound. Very spacy! love the both! Awesome album! Gary Arce's guitars sound like they are piercing through the desert sky, cuts the skies like a sheet. these guys know how to boogie!
    FDJ (Desert Psychlist) thumbnail
FDJ (Desert Psychlist) Two swooning soundsccapes from Ten East (featuring guitarist extraordinaire Isiah Mitchell) and three slices of majestic lo-fi psych from SoftSun, what's not to like? Favorite track: First Light - Ten East with Isiah Mitchell.

Rain Power Wolves are starting to pick up steam on this record, not as great as what’s to come, but you can feel the magic building here. The middle drum passage of the final track is incredible. Favorite track: I Will Lay Down My Bones Among the Rocks and Roots.

guitarstring1008 This album is always with me. I have never loved an entire album like I do this…

    Thank you!
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: Cleansing.

    Urso X thumbnail
Urso X Undulating, hypnotic stoner jam that totally draws you in. Might be my favourite psr release to date.

Huge thanks for this; I need the healing/freeing vibes!

PS — I’m with Dave (and the band), bring on the flood ASAP.

Yoma 🤭 Favorite track: The Hopeless Prayer.
    YomaBarr thumbnail
YomaBarr "Would a new flood please finally come
A real rain and an assortment of plagues
And when all is said and done
Even the Devil won't care enough to spit in the mud"

Thanks tons, gang! I waited till Bandcamp Friday... :D

    ps. vinyl is plastic 👅

masq74 unfortunately I cannot make a final decision on the entire project just yet. but as it stands right now this track is a type of quiet fire that burns in background anchored in pure jazz. can't wait to hear the rest.
