Carsten Pieper Myrkur aka Amalie Bruun has been known as a metal artist, although one not to play by the rules, which seemed to engage one or the other purist. Well, their bad - give me change, give me diversity!

This is not a metal album by no means, but Amalie revisiting her Scandinavian roots with a collection of folk songs, old and new. The old Nordic tale/song Ramond has been covered many times in the last decades, and often, to close the circle, by metal or metal-related artists. Favorite track: Ramund.

J K A m c 8216 really liking new album. I've missed the sound from 1st album which I'm pleased is back in places, enjoying the heavier bits too. definitely liking the baroness style guitar bit on one of the tracks and the bit that reminds me of the matrix music. This is a really good album as so much going on but very well executed. Gets better the more I listen to it.

Claude Brindamour ADP gagne en définition. La basse et la batterie sont très en avant et absolument jouissives! Klek fesse. La pièce d'intro est accaparante et m'a littéralement scotché à l'album. Khn a le pied dedans. J'ai comme une petite douleur thoracique. Favorite track: Yor Zarad.
