    C.S. Nicholson thumbnail
C.S. Nicholson Easy to forget or dismiss an instrumental soundtrack release, but as a filmmaker myself, "Anti-Twilight II" is an evocative music dream come true. Ambient heaven. Now, anybody know where I can watch the film? Favorite track: Anti-Twilight II.

C.S. Nicholson My second favourite HTRK album. The aural equivalent of a painkiller, with the pain still aching distantly beneath the buzz. Nobody sounds like HTRK! Favorite track: Venus in Leo.

MtothaMFJ Headphones on, lights off, be prepared for this release to take you to many different places and spaces. There's been some huge releases this year but this LP has to be at the top of the list for 2025 for me. Every track is so different from the next. It really is next-level business. Favorite track: An Extension.
    ghosttropics thumbnail
ghosttropics Every dub fan has had the conversation that goes something like "all dub music after Basic Channel is derivative" blah blah blah. Heck, sometimes I'm the one saying it! But then I hear something like this and my jaded ass is reminded that there are still new territories to explore.

General Patterns feels like the perfect meeting point of the deep sea chug of Deepchord and the minimal tech grooves of Loidis, where intricate percussive patterns glide through a current of warm, pulsing delays.

pugilisttunes Incredibly well curated collection of tracks! One of the most solid releases I have heard in a while, I had to grab the vinyl!

    John, The Guitarist thumbnail
John, The Guitarist The whole album just really does it for me. Idk if most people would get it but the technique behind this is so forceful while remaining subtle. Simple but inexhaustible. Sometimes things just work. Favorite track: Labyrinth.
