McNegus It took me decades to finally hear the brilliance of this band. My ears and dark heart were not yet honed enough. I am glad to have arrived. Cavernous, technical, evil as fuck and deadly serious about the border between the sound of old school Death Metal and the "spirit" of raw Black Metal. Hail to some of the greatest (still!) on the scene... Favorite track: Unholy Massacre.

rvss.eel "Continuing right where the previous album left off" is a statement that could apply to most Incantation albums, but some more so than others. Here, it certainly applies, and that's a great thing. Onward to Golgotha created a genre-defining sound, and Mortal Throne of Nazarene takes them one step closer to their immortal throne. The atmosphere is strengthened, at times eerie and always dark, and the highlight riffs are more abundant. Incantation's best? Hard to say. But I wouldn't argue it. Favorite track: The Ibex Moon.
