I Can't decide which is my favourite, but track 7, Your Giving Me Life, is slightly ahead of the rest but not by far cos they're all good tunes.
I find I'm taken back to the '80s Soul Train era. I'm thinking 52 Street, Cheryl Lynn, Loose Ends, BB&Q, Shalamar & SOS Band, amongst others. It's the type of sound that filled the dance floors in my youth, we called it funk & soul but whatever you call it, It's pure QUALITY.
Mizumono heard Natasha Diggs play this in NY when it was still unreleased. almost lost my mind trying to find it but glad i finally did - Favorite track: Open Me Up.more...
