    k_sik thumbnail
k_sik Simply amazing. A hidden gem that scratches an itch akin to an emotional panacea. The ethereal cords, transcendent progression, calculated let downs, soft humming of instruments painting a beautiful landscape paired with masterful lyricsim - this quartet packs a whole lot in such little time. Very refined production that yins the yang of the band.

This is quite an emotional journey, and one of those albums you can listen to from start to finish. All my real homies listen to GOON! Favorite track: Jaw.

wobblinheavily Beautiful journey. Thank you Favorite track: part viii - nothing is lost.
    Alisher Sherali thumbnail
Alisher Sherali It's hard to break this album down track by track, as it feels like a seamless journey, building tension until a breathtaking culmination. Collaborators subtly join in, not to reinvent the main theme but to enrich it with intricate layers, amplifying the tension masterfully. The album's composition mirrors its name, making it the perfect soundtrack for a sensual journey. Thankfully, a digital copy is included—otherwise, you'd need someone to flip the vinyl. Favorite track: part viii - nothing is lost.

    marv thumbnail
marv This album feels like the first day of the year when the sun finally comes out, the air smells like summer, and you realize you’ve made it through the winter — and it was on exactly that day that I discovered it. <3 Favorite track: Jelly.
    Quantum Echo thumbnail
Quantum Echo I feel like I'm in 2002 again or something, really amazing beats of a nostalgic time; the essence is captured perfectly. I think the next thing it needs is a vocalist somewhere!

    recycled clay thumbnail
recycled clay i first heard of this artist on NTS and this album quickly became one of my favorites. Reminiscent of Lamb and other downtempo music but james K is one of a kind. A call to the sirens, glass melting, and ocean waves meeting each other. Favorite track: Doom Bikini.

Mt.Vic.Matt Easily one of my picks for 2024; they play a type of post punk, dub n indie, trip hop, downwave sort of thing and IMO it’s very good. It gets better the more I play it and has already become a firm favourite… Favorite track: Umbrah.
    Harrison Phinney thumbnail
Harrison Phinney can’t wait to have another Blisks album in rotation. The first was a surprise discovery for me, and I look fwd to this expansion of a world of sound I’ve come to adore.

Arpad Okay there's extra push on each track, an overlaid layer of midi pressure, and that's the giveaway that ys is from 2025 and not lost 90s bristol trip hop. the tracks are a little more charged, baggier. i wouldn't say less sinister. growling, creepy bass lines give way to parting curtains of heavy bliss Favorite track: Switch.
