brantly Really crisp, direct coldwave that isn't focused on the Dick Dale-inflected death rock aspect of much of their brethren, but more the Sisters of Mercy school of bass-heavy dark grooves and bleak, minimalistic post-goth or a smoky-nightclub interpretation of a more barren and depressed New Order-locked-in-an-abandoned-warehouse...a great LP to headphone as I walk home in the cold rain from the bar after several drinky-poos
