  1. Kruder & Dorfmeister: The K&D Sessions TM (25th Anniversary Boxset Edition)

𝕍 𝕚 𝕣 𝕘 𝕠 ♕ 𝕍 𝕒 𝕟 𝕕 𝕒 𝕝 I bought this double disc cd on a random whim at FYE in a Fort Collins mall back when people did those kinds of things. Both cds were just plain brass colored if I remember correctly. Had no idea how far ahead of myself I was back then. Likely put it in my discman and skated off into the sunset with 45sec anti-shock protection on before crashing into CSU campus security. The only remaining journey in trip-hip that even exists to this day. Wild. Favorite track: Bug Powder Dust (K&D Session TM).

slowroots LEAVES ME speechless Favorite track: Speechless (Drum 'n' Bass).
    bloused thumbnail
bloused Bought the vinyl when it first appeared many years ago. Recently, bought the 25th anniversary reissue on cd, which means I can sit back, relax and enjoy the music without having to get up every 20 or so minutes to turn the record over.. Win win Favorite track: Boogie Woogie - Kruder & Dorfmeister.

magoski I was just asking myself this. . Love's a strong word, but then
    when it's used right
    love is the only word
    that makes any sense
I was reading the review this guy wrote, on Discogs
It was the guy I just bought a record from.
    And
this guy writes, "If shivers down ones spine could be measured, the ones that went down in my body when I heard this for the first time would be in the double digit Richter scale. Moodyman is the GOAT
    AJ. thumbnail
AJ. Probably the DJ Kicks album that I return to the most. A real melting pot of music with something for pretty much everyone. Favorite track: Fall For You (Sandy Rivera's Classic Mix).

K.Rise "The approach Parrish took to compiling DJ-Kicks was very ambitious, inviting his Detroit peers to produce a collection of brand new material, and in turn creating the first ever all exclusive entry to the esteemed series." Favorite track: When the Sun Falls.
    Brendan Cahill thumbnail
Brendan Cahill Stellar work Theo and respect to all the artists involved, beautiful records from start to finish. 👊 Favorite track: The Upper Room.

    Scott thumbnail
Scott This release occasionally evokes a bit of vRomb, a touch of early Autechre, and yet it doesn't quite sound like anything else at all. Awesome. Favorite track: Gravity Distortion.
    Michael Mueller thumbnail
Michael Mueller One of the quietist, most minimal releases from ASC, and one of my favourites.

The kick-drum is largely absent, with the rhythmic elements being supplied via more percussive elements. The tempos are slower, lending the album a meditative, darkly ambient hue.

There is still considerable variation throughout. Stillness gets supplanted by tension and urgency, before the stillness returns.

ASC is one of the most innovative producer around, and this is one of his most compelling releases. Favorite track: Motion Resonance.
    Neurax thumbnail
Neurax Stumbled upon this ambient-electronic. And it is beautiful. Dark, mysterious, yet harmonious and strangely calming motives will carry you to the depths of your mind and Eternity.
Extremely recommend. Favorite track: Lost Transmission.
