Gavin Serafini Great collection of songs. I just dont know how he does it, mixing so many varieties of instruments and production styles. Every track feels ambitious and diverse, especially the mix of persian instruments with country guitar, very nice symbolism there. I had high hopes for this record but it blew me out of the water. Great writing, phenomenal production, what else can I say? Bravo. Favorite track: Like a Spark.

THE NONSEMBLE We are quite used to being impressed and pleased with Billy's Mohlerisms.

THE ETERNAL pulls his haunting Basslines up from the bottom and places them front and center which brings Billy back to the front - just the way we like it!

Tim Humphrey I am so happy to see Manual return after 16 years. This album is a treasure. I'm really glad he didnt' abandoned the glitch from early albums which helped define the genre with some of the best albums of the 00s in that style. The warmth is brilliant and I am happy he has added a bit of his shoegaze in here as well. More please. And thanks for still making cds and vinyl

dam0ooo A favourite artist of mine since the Morr days. This record harks back to that sound while also feeling modern. I can see it getting many listens over the summer. Great to have Manual back! Favorite track: True Bypass.

zhangtastic This can be funny and earnest. However, the words he sings is just a nice bear hug of comfort.

Joe Snyder Such an intimate and soulful record that touches on universal themes. This guy knows how to make an album! Listening to it on a rainy Saturday night and loving it. Thank you Bill! Favorite track: Lonely City.
    recklessbear thumbnail
recklessbear I can't explain why but this feels to me like the most honest Bill Callahan recording I've listened to so far. Also, I love the vibe that the musicians create for each of the songs. It's brilliant playing here.
