WhereWraithsDwell
One of the most critically acclaimed Mastodon albums. The songwriting is strong and varied, with well-developed melodies and some country style guitars too, and besides those, Brann Dailor's hyperactive drumming accents every composition. This album is a definite modern classic packed with great riffs that combine sludge with the complexity of progressive metal and hardcore-like shouted vocals and an appropriately oppressive atmosphere for portraying the story of Moby Dick.
