Gordon Devlin Just witnessed the extraordinary performance by Claire with the LCO at Queen Elizabeth Hall, London (7.Dec. 2025). This track wrapped up a powerful and emotionally charged set. If you get the chance to see Claire live, even if it involves travelling hundreds of miles, DO IT! Favorite track: Gleann Ciùin.
    furnituremusic thumbnail
furnituremusic I have listened to this record over and over for the last few days! It truly is a masterpiece! At many instances it brings tears to my eyes. It is that good! Bravo! Favorite track: Gleann Ciùin.
    vykr thumbnail
vykr If you like Anna von Hausswolf you may enjoy this. Claire isn't a copycat she just takes the Organ in other sonic directions. Very dramatic so, be wary when you play it "far too loud" (grin) ! Favorite track: Gleann Ciùin.

ibuymusic2 This is GREAT Collection of Songs. Sure to become classics. Can I Call You Rose, brought me here from a YouTube short. So much soul in these tracks. Definitely takes you back in time. To a time before my time. These songs were made perfect for celebrations of love. If I were celebrating my wedding day. I know which two I'd have playing. Favorite track: Love Comes Easy.

DJ SpaceTerrapin Maybe contrary to the artist's intention I do not find "relief" in this album. The claustrophobic atmosphere, the dense mix and the feeling of waiting for an asteroid incoming in slow motion however make more than up for it. A wonderful album!! Favorite track: STRICT PARALLELS.

Chiming.Back I was seeking a comprehensive update, both in terms of quantity and quality, regarding the music I greatly enjoyed during the mid-1980s. I discovered an abundance of options. Favorite track: Fingerwolf - Theme For Cold Warfare.
    nickdrewski thumbnail
nickdrewski This is a great initiative and in support of a great cause, with lots of fascinating music responding to the crazy situation we've all been in for the last few months. One to look back on when this is all over and it will be very evocative of what we've lived through. Excellent stuff Favorite track: Rupert Lally - Empty Playgrounds.
    strinjf thumbnail
strinjf Woke up in the small hours so put this album on to listen to as I tried to get back to sleep. I've just woken up from the most powerful dream. It was like a scene from a film, where I was in a post apocalyptic Britain - rioting and lawlessness had taken hold as society broken down and I was wandering the streets filled with wrecked cars, smashed shop fronts and small fires. "Hand Glass" was playing in the background throughout. So powerful, I actually felt emotion. I woke as the track ended. Favorite track: Fea & Twenty Three Hanging Trees - Hand Glass.

elsyon Three gorgeously recorded live tracks from one of the most interesting acts in all of post-punk/new wave. I honestly might prefer these to their studio versions, they sound THAT unbelievably good here. Favorite track: Chernye Cvety.

JDMP the only sadness is that we only get through beautiful sounding tracks.

Back Off Warchild. Seriously. Instant purchase. The live shows are always great fun and this recording does it justice. Super clean while adding in enough new things to make it stand apart from the albums.
