dan perry this has been a favorite track of mine since i first heard it on "beneath the icy floe" (v.2), a CD i bought way back in the mid 90s 2nd hand (along with a 4AD compilation) on a whim that forever changed me. Favorite track: Terrace of Memories — 2024 remaster.

mario1984 I can listen to Structures from Silence for hours and I never get tired of listening to it. The melody is wonderfully simple and deep at the same time. For me this track represents eternity. Eternity not meant as an infinite succession of centuries, but as the total absence of time.
    Professor Borghesi thumbnail
Professor Borghesi This song is very important to me. I have many versions of SFS in my Steve discography, and this May release allows me to loop the gapless track and dream of hearing it live in seven cities. Thanks Steve, love and care from Italy. Favorite track: Seven Cities - Complete Live 2024-25 Structures From Silence Collection.
    Nathan Youngblood thumbnail
Nathan Youngblood Like many of you, I’ve had this piece on repeat many times in my life. This collection is a fantastic idea! Evolving loop mode shaped by different spaces, people, moods, travel, electricity, timing, breaths, cable runs & filters. Proof that SFS has a true soul, and will keep living on and on. Bravo and can't wait to hear it again live.. SOON! Favorite track: Seven Cities - Complete Live 2024-25 Structures From Silence Collection.

Ego Broken My first Serena Gabriel album and I fell in love with it, how it flows and takes you gently on a peaceful meditation. So difficult to pick a favorite track because it works so well as a whole album. Favorite track: For the Fire.
    Luki13 thumbnail
Luki13 Beautiful, for sure. Calling for peace of mind and rest in the heart space... Favorite track: High Sun, River Blessings.
    Ron Hogan thumbnail
Ron Hogan Peaceful and calming in the vein of her sometime collaborator Steve Roach (no surprise, as he produced this album as well as adding synths here and there). Perfect for when you’re alone late at night, after a thunderstorm has passed through your corner of the world. Favorite track: In the All.

    agutterfan thumbnail
agutterfan Came as a surprise to me, semi-acoustic ballads about self doubt & internal conflict with literate but not arty lyrics often using the elements as metaphors. Nice instrumental palette, whether it be the poppy opener, the late 60s LA electric piano vibe of "Wild Rain"(hint of late 70s Stevie Nicks), the rocky "Thunder Song" & "Dream State", the PJ Harvey shuffle of "Mama Proud" or the Mazzy Star alt-country "Forever". The album grows with repeated listenings. Favorite track: Wild Rain.
    merekatter thumbnail
merekatter whimsical and grounding all at once. magical! Favorite track: I See The White.
    Art Fin thumbnail
Art Fin Her best songs and most "pop" work yet. In the league of Angel Olsen, Lucy Dacus, Courtney Barnett, Margaret Glaspy, etc. Favorite track: I See The White.
