Elased Frostshock have released one of the top albums of 2025. Here you will find guitar performances that are second to none and one of the best guitar and bass interplays I have ever heard. Truly creative songwriting!
    Lyriam thumbnail
Lyriam They are still making that destructive & crushing Melodeath sound. You guys check every box for me on a enjoyable listening experience all the way through. Once again, It's difficult to pick just one favorite track. \m/ All hail FrostShock! \m/ Favorite track: Whatever Lies Beyond The Black Sky.

YomaBarr This just couldn't be bad even if it tried, and, turmoil of life or not, I find this uplifting like all hell. Now you know, kids, who was responsible for all that Stortregn sound 😎
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator Swiss Melodic Black / Death Metal. As Sasha & Yoma 🖤 already stated, littlew can go wrong with such a line-up... :) It is indeed a most uplifting album as Yoma said! The melodies are perfectly balanced by the wonderfully raw, but still just rounded enough, vocals. I have only just bought it & it has been on a very steady rotation for the entire Easter weekend! No faves at all! Highly recommended!!!
    MarshMelody thumbnail
MarshMelody meloblack with some of the sickest melodies and most ecstatically technical performances, as to be expected from one of the masterminds behind Storts. Favorite track: Shining Amidst the Lights.

FathomlessDepths76 Absolute melodic death/doom bliss. So many ice shards through the chest moments. Production sounds crisp and massive on headphones. Will undoubtedly remain one of the highlighted metal albums of the year. Favorite track: Unwoven.

_oyasumi_ A solid album with plenty of re-playability down the road. Well worth the change. Rest well Tomas, thankyou sir.
    thekurtaction thumbnail
thekurtaction This is an excellent album anyway but knowing the circumstances it was recorded under adds another layer of meaning. Some of the lyrics are haunting. Favorite track: The Dissonant Void.
    Christopher Martin thumbnail
Christopher Martin I rarely ever listen to Metal music anymore, but seeing a new At The Gates release and also being the final work of the late Tomas Lindberg I of course had to give it a listen. Arguably, in my opinion, their best album ever, and I never thought they would be able to outdo Slaughter of the Soul. RIP Tompa † Favorite track: Tomb Of Heaven.

Christoph Wagner Folk Metal / Melodeath as it used to be 2 decades ago. What if Ensiferum still sounded like they used to. This is what you get here, and I love it!
    sashavonkarl74 thumbnail
sashavonkarl74 A great blend of epic tales and truly majestic melodies, as we are used to get from Atavistia! Love the new release guys!! Keep-up the great work! Outstanding guitar work and immersive atmosphere, this is one of their best work.
