Fewer Notes Lovely duets between brass and vibraphone (plus some subtle effects and ambient electronics between the two).
    George Wallace thumbnail
George Wallace Delicious sounds, originating in centered stillness, pressing outward, genteel and generous, remaking silence into a brighter thing. In the best way, an ECM record, without in fact actually being an ECM record. Favorite track: Old Mouse.
    Jeff Kliment thumbnail
Jeff Kliment Magical. I imagine the stars on the cover as if they were painted on the ceiling of a child's bedroom. At night they start dancing, and this is the soundtrack.

    Alek Kowalski thumbnail
Alek Kowalski Uncanny combination of soft and grounded, emotional and present. Absolute favorite in times of calm and ease, but also when calm and ease need to be summoned. Gentle and modest, yet powerful. Unique. Favorite track: Ten Sails.
    penguinloki thumbnail
penguinloki A lovely sound from nothing more than a trumpet, a piano, and the talented musicians who play them. Favorite track: Mess Hall.

kenneth leong Make yourself a lovely dinner and have a sit. Blissfully swallow and be swallowed. Favorite track: North House.

Rob Ward I am "Brexit British", a Plastic Paddy rediscovering my Irish roots having traded my British passport for an Irish one after many years of living abroad. I found this while looking for some Irish music for my Mum's 70th - as far as she is herself from her younger years in Mayo, she has had little but Bob Brolly's Irish Programme on Radio WM. I fell in love with it, much as I more grudgingly fell in love with my Dad's tapes of The Chieftains as a kid. Samradh Samradh is haunting, others brighter. Favorite track: Samradh Samradh.
