Egg Wizard Some pivotal tunes in my personal development; included is the "Retread" CD remixed by Robert Racic, transforming brilliant dark electropop tunes (Big Car, Greater Reward) into leading edge dancefloor soundscapes; Tom Ellard and Ollie Olsen should be recognised worldwide for enormous sophistication that led the pack. Favorite track: Greater Dub.
    Rob Wosley thumbnail
Rob Wosley Massive massive dancefloor filler, spooky, nasty, but gorgeous at the same time. A millstone around Tom Ellard's neck, maybe, a behemoth out of control, careering through the decades like a sonic bulldozer. Impossible not to be weirded out by the lyrics but desperate to dance to it at the same time. Favorite track: Dead Eyes Opened 94 Reopened.

Warpfan If this album had been released by a Vaporwave or Electronica label, I’d place it somewhere tween the rosters of Doom Trip and Basshouse. It is a wildly fresh and creative mix of floating soundscapes (#1), Shoegaze/washed-out bliss (#4 and #5), silliness (#3 and 7), lo-fi house (#8), noise (#6), sound sculptures (#9), and Eccojams (#2 and 10)… complete with spoken word samples in English and Finnish! May appeal to fans of Lindsheaven Virtual Plaza or Visualculture. Favorite track: Ibiza.
