John Cratchley Mujician’s spontaneous music making was one of a kind… the instruments and thought processes feel uncannily integrated… nothing feels forced or a compromise (as can often feel the way with improvisation, I think)…there is an emotional and intellectual ‘rightness’ to it all. Takes my breath away on every listen.

  1. A Story For Christmas

khanrott Listened to this in the dark on christmas eve, couldn't sleep until I listened to the whole thing. It's the perfect sibling to 'maybe a ghost story' which I spent Halloween with this year.
    Will Hines thumbnail
Will Hines A manipulative, sentimental story whose twist I saw coming a mile away. I’m infuriated I like it as much as I do. It’s incredibly good. Max stars.
    hovehound thumbnail
hovehound I love this story. I saw it live, and now have listened to it the last two Christmas’. I think it may become A TRADITION! Standard DK loveliness I have come to love and expect but special mention to Isy Suttey for the most brilliant performance. Is she actually acting because you really can’t tell. Marvellous.

Brent Davis Not as "out there" as the jazz I usually favour, but great stuff notwithstanding. Beautifully played, composed, improvised - probably a classic in the making.

    ✌️🇿🇦🤘 Favorite track: That's A Curse.
