dub orange quarz is the most interesting drum&bass/electronic artist, that i discovered in the last years. i love all of his releases. he pushes the boundaries of d&b, with infusions of dubstep etc., but that are only words...he creates his own futuristic musical world, at the same time grounded in the d&b roots, a bridge from past to the future. these amazing 4 tracks are suited more for intense listening than for a dancefloor, complex beats and cinematic atmosphere, simply amazing. master at work! Favorite track: Switchblade Groove.

Uncut Anger Holsten's ability to strip down tunes to the bare bones yet keep it interesting and menacing is his true trademark. As a sucker for 90's tech step this really soothes my mood. The Overlook remix is a stark contrast, switching samples and beats, making for a hectic, yet very satisfying finale to the EP. Favorite track: Projectiles (Overlook Remix).

Christiaan Ideler Lads been teasing tracks from this e.p. For ages. Well worth the waiting though, instantly crowned as my personal favourite and for what it’s worth, I think it’ll be a (long) while before anyone or any release steals that crown! Favorite track: Service Kru.

RBAR Another very good rework album! Too bad Voodoo People and Poison didn’t appear but I love what’s here. Not just remixes, truly reworks with the same timeless feel of the original. Favorite track: Full Throttle (Neekeetone 160 Rework).
