  1. DEMO 2023
    by BOGSIDE SNIPER SQUADRON
    supported by
    wallbarr thumbnail
wallbarr Excellent bestial yet melodic death/black metal themed after The Troubles/Provisional IRA. Really hope these guys do more - the songwriting is phenomenal. Favorite track: CORPORAL EXECUTIONS.
    avrillavigneofdeathmetal thumbnail
avrillavigneofdeathmetal Incendiary debut offering featuring blistering blackened DM tempos, melodic '80s trad. and thrash metal inspiration, and a powder keg of Phil Lynott (RIP) lead guitar fireworks. Shreds ears and leaves an impact like a .50 caliber round through an Ulster loyalist's knees from a kilometer away. Eagerly awaiting Bogside's sophomore effort to pierce through the foggy dew. Favorite track: ASH RAINS AT WARRENPOINT.
    ciarantburke thumbnail
ciarantburke This demo needs another release! never mind the hoo-ha with Kneepcap, this is militant!

    FLXFR thumbnail
FLXFR Masterful melodic death metal with raw and triumphant swagger. Favorite track: THE PROCESSION OF SANDS.
    A. thumbnail
    A. Not sure why the other reviewer thinks BSS is a SFW version of Arghoslent, far from it - these dudes are savage, singing about real issues and events. Read up on their themes and you'll get what I'm saying. Amazing release, keep'em coming boys 🔥 🔥 🔥 Favorite track: FIVE DEMANDS.
    pranaferox thumbnail
pranaferox Fulfills the promise of their demo (which was my favorite release of 2023). Going to be hard to beat this year.

What the other guy said... like if Arghoslent collided with Thin Lizzy, but they sang about cool stuff instead of dumbass gutter racism.
    Wheels of Mercury thumbnail
Wheels of Mercury I've been waiting for something from this Irish-American band for three years, and that something is finally here! Like with the demo from 2023, if you like the riffing style of a certain Running Wild-inspired melodeath band, but you want to stay away from the absolutely uncalled-for racism of that band's lyrics... you've found your alternative!

vesumbra Whenever I want to give up, I put this track on and find by determination rekindled. Favorite track: GASOLINE.
    Cerulean Church thumbnail
Cerulean Church When I saw this album while mindlessly browsing I thought "Haha #3 man funny"
After taking a full listen, I would like to apologize for my insolence.
    All killer, no filler.
    Favorite track: GASOLINE.

    Abyssius Murkraken thumbnail
Abyssius Murkraken Excited to get my hands on this decadently sexy album!

[UPDATE:] This easily fits into my top albums of 2026! Highly recommended for any symphonic black metal fan. Favorite track: The Black Dragons Of Iswylm.
    Igor thumbnail
Igor The album art was what initially caught my attention (besides the obvious reasons...) because it looks very 90's-esque... Still I would say it is worth mentioning that it took 1 one track to make me blind purchase this... I have high hopes for this band and album! But so far I can already tell I will become a fan! I will add more when the full album drops... but man... I'm already excited! Favorite track: Carnal Tapestries Of Nailtorn Flesh.
    Not RomanPort thumbnail
Not RomanPort nice rack \m/ Favorite track: Imperious Sanguine Eroticism.

    by Volahn

    Godzilla thumbnail
Godzilla this kicks allot of ass and its great Favorite track: Intro / La Peste Negra Diabólica.
    John Felix thumbnail
John Felix I love how Volahn is the kind of band that plays what they want to hear, come what may. I love everything about their new record; the instruments, the vocalizations, the intensity, the telling of the splendor of the Maya world and the heaviness of its history and beliefs.
    Dave Aftandilian thumbnail
Dave Aftandilian Masterful blend of traditional Mayan and contemporary instruments that makes the ancient mythology of the Popul Vuh feel alive and powerful for today. The full-on sonic assault makes me imagine legions of the shadowed dead marching beneath the earth at the command of the ancient gods while the drums of war sound.
