  1. Gifts of Fire and Fury
    by Hjartans

Guillaume P. Trépanier This album is driven by a positive and joyful force that I can't help but smile and feel happy all the way through. I don't know if "power ambiant" is a thing, but we should find a new term for this branch of Hjartans music. Favorite track: No force can keep us apart.
    Filipe Machado thumbnail
Filipe Machado It is rare to see the energy of power metal translated so well into this kind of synth-driven space. This record manages to stay fast and melodic without losing that dark weight. It creates a soundscape that feels both legendary and incredibly grounded. Truly great stuff from start to finish.

sjöhäxan At first I was taken in by the beautiful album artwork, but nothing could've prepared me for the beautiful musical storytelling that unfurls with each listen. There is an overlay of softness that brings warmth and comfort to each track, 6 & 7 being my favorite examples of this. This will be an album I plan to return to in times of solace. Favorite track: L'Épée du Seigneur d'Argent.
    Anders Kvistr thumbnail
Anders Kvistr A journey both dreamy and spiritual. Beautiful sounds and enchanting melodies paint a world of wonder, longing and cosmic mystery. Favorite track: L'Épée du Seigneur d'Argent.

emanuele127 A terrific blend of majestic, nostalgic, dreamy, and eerie melodies, Secrets of the Starlit Citadel takes us on a journey that's at the same time archetypal and unique. Be sure not to miss the accompanying story that complements and enriches the music with an otherworldly tale, and hints at the possibility of a sequel to this wonderful release. Favorite track: Secrets of the Starlit Citadel.

themossknightcometh a wonderfully dark and magical work here. really ethereal tones and beautiful melodies.

blarg The title track is possibly the darkest sounding of all the releases from this artist and together with the accompanying chapter create an unsettling atmosphere and hypnotic trance that you can’t shake. Froth is a true master of atmosphere and the versatility and skill in which it is applied to the diverse projects is impressive Favorite track: Secrets of the Starlit Citadel.
