mikaellind Very minimal, but just lovely. The instrumentation is gorgeous. This whole album has been on repeat lately. Favorite track: Sections 74-87.
    Matt Johnsen thumbnail
Matt Johnsen I've enjoyed all of Erik Hall's minimalist releases, but this one is the best. His arrangement of the piece is gorgeous, and the timbral variation of the strings, woodwinds, and mallet percussion make this my favorite recording of Canto Ostinato by a long shot. The recording is gorgeous, too - a true masterpiece!

tech_tonicplates I love this album dude — totally has the feel of what my dad would put on when I was a little kid. Such a jam :D Favorite track: A Dogs Best Man.

Brent Davis Thank you, CHONCY - Trademark is all I hoped it would be.

Energetic post-punk that ventures into hardcore terrain.

    Highly recommended.

Shane King I got turned on to this album by KEXP and am so glad I did. Hannah draws from the 80s music I grew up on without trying to sound retro. It sounds like they are writing music they want to hear. I love that.

Jack Hannah Lew has been living rent-free in my head for the last two weeks... I can't stop listening to this album. Incredible songwriting. Favorite track: Sunday.

42adam Music, in the best sense, can bring long-forgotten, lost things back to light. Here's a time travel experience that's really fun. Favorite track: Sunday.
