    elsyon thumbnail
elsyon Three gorgeously recorded live tracks from one of the most interesting acts in all of post-punk/new wave. I honestly might prefer these to their studio versions, they sound THAT unbelievably good here. Favorite track: Chernye Cvety.
    JDMP thumbnail
JDMP the only sadness is that we only get through beautiful sounding tracks.
    Back Off Warchild. Seriously. thumbnail
Back Off Warchild. Seriously. Instant purchase. The live shows are always great fun and this recording does it justice. Super clean while adding in enough new things to make it stand apart from the albums.

    Lutz Seemann thumbnail
Lutz Seemann A magnificent poem paired with a musical masterpiece. Favorite track: Words Unspoken.
    nortoncanes thumbnail
nortoncanes This is a cut above - it's got a real raw sound, and a fragility, that does far more than simply play on the usual coldwave tropes. It has an anguished allure and plenty of dark twists up its sleeve. Favorite track: Pressure.

bloodthjrsty If you have strong imagination, the songs on this album seem to put you in a dreamlike trance. Udalil Tvoy Nomer was the first song to get me into Molchat Doma. I hadn't heard it until I went to my first concert of theirs, when I fell in love with the song, and the band. To this day, it is one of the best performances I've ever heard, and it's wonderful to hear how the songs from this album sound recorded vs. live. Utonut is my current favorite, unable to leave my brain for the last 2 weeks. Favorite track: Утонуть / Utonut'.
    abstained_cactus thumbnail
abstained_cactus Gloomy, depressing, melancholic vibes, all in a single album. Captured in the perfect lo-fi atmosphere. Cannot appreciate this enough. Favorite track: Удалил Твой Номер / Udalil Tvoy Nomer.
    ngc-7469 thumbnail
ngc-7469 Good moody vibes and a nice sound. Favorite track: Ответа Нет / Otveta Net.

    9RnK7 thumbnail
9RnK7 Put simply this is a modern masterpiece. The atmosphere is unique, the riffs are amazing, the emotions drip from every note. In Mourning have had an extremely successful career so far with Shrouded Devine serving as the catalyst. Surely an essential album when naming the best extreme prog albums! Favorite track: By Other Considered.

shotgun suicide This album fucking rips, as usual.

Do you like black, thrash, or speed metal? If so, stop reading and start listening.

All hail the goat! Favorite track: Hunderprest.
    FriendlyGenderlessGoblin thumbnail
FriendlyGenderlessGoblin This album totally Rips. James is such a talented individual. The Crushing guitar work with the Hellish Shreiks OMG.
Hellripper never disappoints. All Hail The Goat. Favorite track: Kinchyle (Goatkraft and Granite).
    Bart thumbnail
Bart Just like their last album, at first I didn't take to it, then I was loving it. Same thing here. They are still firmly in the blackened thrash vein, but keep playing and expanding their music. The solos get a bit lond-winded for me, but holy hell, the primary riffs are just complicated yet unforgettable. Yes it's awesome as we hoped. Now let's get some live dates in the U.S. Favorite track: Baobhan Sith (Waltz of the Damned).
