PaintedDogs 15 years ago (hey what a coincidence) I caught a Big D set at some ska festival. David was dog sick. Pale, throwing up in a bucket on stage, probably shouldn't have been out of bed at all. He still brought it harder than any other band in that lineup. I never forgot that, or this record, one of the few third-wave releases with staying power. Keep shining on. Favorite track: Shining On.

tim_the_curator VGM lofi is such a cynical space. Lofi, at its most basic, is extremely easy to produce, and with VGM as the basis, it’s very easy to find an audience. Further, as background noise, that audience is usually undiscerning, so there’s a ton of aural “shovelware.”

This is not that. This shit is excellent. The Dedede arrangement is so good it will make you sit up in your chair and say “holy god what am I hearing.” I have that reaction every single time I play it.

Also the vinyl is STUNNING. Favorite track: King Dedede (from "Dedede’s Drum Dash Deluxe") (Lo-Fi Edit).

Space Great music album, This game is the reason why I love science and the science behind epidemics and diseases. The music is also very calm and intense while trying to infect and kill the world. 10/10. Favorite track: Plague Blossom.

gegesan Une musique superbe à l'orchestration ample. J'ai été cueilli d'emblée en l'entendant alors que mon frère jouait au jeu éponyme. Un score remarquable !

Ayunema This is such a recognizable OST in all the right ways. And the final 2 stage themes turn it up to 11. I almost don't want to finish the stages, so I can just keep jammin'. Favorite track: Endless Echo.
    omegakingauldron thumbnail
omegakingauldron For a game that I've played through hundreds of times, it's one of those games where the soundtrack just works on every level. Imagine my surprise seeing it on Bandcamp, so this was an instant purchase.

Anyone who likes Mega Man or Mega Man X music will appreciate this. Favorite track: Firestorm.
    QrtzQdrnt thumbnail
QrtzQdrnt This is one of the best and greatest of soundtracks I’ve ever heard. The game was a random find in the Switch Eshop, so I decided to buy it, since it looked like MMX, and I was blown away by the whole game, it was great, the soundtrack is just amazing, I can listen to it for days, the tunes always spark a feeling of joy in me. It’s amazing, I recommend getting the game, and the soundtrack. Favorite track: Endless Echo.
