sashavonkarl74 I've read some really nasty reviews about this particular album, from "experts" and fans alike, how "Non Serviam" was so much better, etc. If you choose to ignore them, and give this album a listen, and stop comparing it with the band's past releases, you may find a really enjoyable Rotting Christ album, musically strong, with improvements possible on the lyrics side, ok, but I don't always say "no" if the lyrics are corny or deprived of meaning, or empty words. Who cares? I did not. Favorite track: Vetry Zlye.

dimmuborgia Son atmosphère est mystérieuse, pesante et solennelle à souhait, les mélodies simples et efficaces, du pur Rotting Christ comme on l'aime.

fyeahmetal There was a surreal night in which I pulled an all-nighter to pack up my house before moving. This album was the only thing I listened to for 8 hours, on repeat. So, empirically it has replay value! It's the perfect soundtrack for heroic deeds like charging into battle, slaying Christians, or packing boxes. It may be a one-trick pony, mid-paced battle anthems, like a distant Greek cousin of Bolt Thrower (minus the Phrygian-isms, ironically), but what a trick it is. This record is perfect. Favorite track: Like Father, Like Son.

Grimmrobe The sky cracks open, and a spear of holy light screams through and pierces the Earth, and a deluge of blood and brimstone paves the streets.

Eschaton has begun. Rotting Christ are the Seven Seals; this album is their trumpet. Favorite track: Like Father, Like Son.
