lloydd Have the bands last release No Keys. That was a very good release this their new release has a different feel, and in my humble opinion a tad better. This is one of my favorite releases of 23. Fuzz, blues and boogie all tied togeather with warm vocals. What more can i ask for. Favorite track: Last Card.

brussb Gorgeous minimalist arrangements and one of the most beautiful and moving voices I've ever heard. Lady Blackbird brings a Monk-like ability to get right into your guts and start rooting around. Favorite track: Five Feet Tall.
    schannine thumbnail
schannine Lady Blackbird, thank you so much for your piece of art, your music, your voice [sic!].

    Favorite track: Bewahre the stranger
    Mark Kirby thumbnail
Mark Kirby She brings the spirit of Nina Simone through her own unique voice and attitude. Every song is dripping with emotion, the kind best expressed though gospel and soul. The spare instrumentation of stand-up bass, piano, organ and ghostly strings. Some of the moods created remind me of Kind of Blue (the song "Fix It"). All in all and awesome record.
