This was in my wishlist for a long time, I had no idea WHAT it was! Soon as I found out, I put down the $$$ for it. An amazing tour through their catalog. No less heavy and weird for being acoustic, a great album, essential.

this is a masterpiece of an album. not even an album, just a pure work or Art(with a capital A). I love both sumac & mm on their own but this is its own beast. and it's a monster of a beast. this is one of those albums that will be talked about many years from now when people look back at how evil times caused the creation of amazing art.

I used to fly to Valdez a lot for work, young and sleep deprived. All I would listen to is PTM. Sometimes I’m nostalgic for that. Father Gun brings me back to sitting on that plane.
Favorite track: Father Gun.
Wyatt White
The whole thing is pretty great, but Denali, Father Gun, and Pittman Raiders especially connect with me. Love the very DIY feel even as a successful band.
Favorite track: Denali.

we played a show in the small room next to the room both of these bands played and the melvins walked through our soundcheck and said "remember when we used to play here, HA"
Favorite track: Comparison Is The Thief Of Joy.
Doom King
Heavy, tasty, riffy, weird and full of ear worms... Thought someone had taken over my Bluetooth right at the end of the album.
Everette Poston
Man...this is such a great album all around, but there's just something I keep coming back to in "If You Didn't Go"
Favorite track: If You Didn't Go.

Some reviews have suggested it's uneven but I think it's her best album. I love the mix of genres while still remaining extremely soulful. It's an adventurous, rewarding listen and definitely in my top ten for 2023.
Favorite track: What Are You Waiting For.

A groovy, soulful follow up to the excellent “Nine Lives.” Kendra Morris is damn talented.
