AsthmaGoat I'd not heard of this project till today, and with that opening track, I wasn't sure what I was in for. But then the album progresses and has a bit of everything! Blackened goodness, experimental noise, singing, not singing. The musicianship is amazing and the left field approach kept me guessing the whole journey. Don't sleep on this, it's so fun, aggressive, solemn and powerful.
    eec Favorite track: izanami.

raptorpye wasn't sure what to expect from this album but ended up loving it, 'phantom cock' is especially great Favorite track: phantom cock.

    Jason Power YES. Wendorlan!
The drummer must be on some hard Hiesenbee shit, or just really fit!🔊🙉 Favorite track: Duneray.
    scopetag thumbnail
scopetag Squarepusher's signature sound cannot disappoint in the slightest with this magnificent comeback. Favorite track: Heliobat.
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: Stromcor.

    Warpfan thumbnail
Warpfan If you like mid-90s Warp/Skam records electronic wizardry, you will love this album. Neil Scrivin is a cassette-tape splicing genius, and has created an album of interplanetary electronic funk - with liquid drum and bass as a distant cousin. Tracks #1, #2, #5, and #8 are brighter tunes, while the rest are moodier soundtracks. To dive right onto the dancefloor, go to 2:30 in Cassential and let it ride. (Then go buy PG's first album, Chrome Position, which throws some BoC into the mix). Favorite track: Cassential.
    Xero thumbnail

    by Andy Aquarius, Kimi Recor
    featured track 00:00/00:00
Brother Of Sleep Brother Of Sleep

    Nickie Harte Kelly thumbnail
Nickie Harte Kelly Andy Aquarius has teamed up with Kimi Recor on this fine sort-of-EP. Andy plays Celtic harp, synths, and provides some vocals, and Kimi sings and plays monochord, a type of ancient stringed instrument. As the instrumentation suggests, there is an uncannily ethereal feeling to these tracks. My favourite track (Back To The Fire) utilizes Kimi’s crystalline vocals to their fullest, creating an atmosphere drenched in melancholy and lamentation. Favorite track: Back To The Fire.
    𝕽𝖔𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖊 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕳𝖔𝖗𝖓𝖊𝖉 thumbnail
𝕽𝖔𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖊 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕳𝖔𝖗𝖓𝖊𝖉 This album is a sublime and transcendent journey ! The combination of Andy Aquarius' harp, Kimi Recor's vocals and all the musical textures transports us through time, through the spheres. In this dreamlike Folk/Ambient music, we evaporate, we disappear, we return to the Great All. Relieved. Favorite track: Back To The Fire.

Vinternatt one of my all time favorite dungeon synth albums, every track is perfect and the album cover is so beautiful its hard to look away Favorite track: Site Where Spirits Gather.
    padraigsmith thumbnail
padraigsmith I love everything about this album. It reminds me of when I used to wander in the swamps as a kid, back when I believed in magic.
    Septembre thumbnail
Septembre This album paints a picture of an entire ecosystem enveloped in a dense haze of magic, vibrancy, and decay. It feels so alive - as every second passes whilst listening, I become more and more ensconced in the mire. The atmosphere feels both dangerous and like a place of peace. Life and decay cyclically foster each other, and the magic therein is so spellbinding indeed. Wonderful. Favorite track: Arboreal Melodies.
