𝕯𝕺𝕺𝕸 𝕶𝕺𝕸𝕸𝕬𝕹𝕯𝕺 What excellent piece of black metal, might just be the best and most coherent and compelling album I’ve ever heard from the genre.

“Within a sea of piss there is always a golden turd as one might say about the black metal genre.” -Taliban Joe Favorite track: Shivatandaviolence.

thechatkid Heavier than 1000 solar masses. Actually feels like you're being buried under the decay of a wretched, uncaring wasteland. Completely brilliant. Hails. Favorite track: Nectars of Tantric Murder.

  4. Those Once Mighty Fallen (split ILDJARN - HATE FOREST)

the-cool-fox On this split album, Ildjarn (made by Nidhogg) and Hate Forest share their Black Metal music for the person to hear the distinction of Norwegian Black Metal and Ukrainian Black Metal. But the main point I want to bring up is that even though most of Hate Forest’s discography on Osmose Productions’ Bandcamp is sadly gone due to idiotic cancel culture, this split album was spared thankfully as a middle finger gesture towards them. Hopefully someday the rest of HF albums shall return triumphantly. Favorite track: Abyss Wanderer.

jd ))) Those queers that run Bandcamp need to put the rest of Hate Forest albums back up.
    Ded AsDisco III thumbnail
Ded AsDisco III Bought this just randomly at a record shop because I was on a big Hate Forest kick and just needed something new. Wasn't disappointed. Low Fi production but doesn't sound like it was recorded on a talk boy and then the tape was eaten buy a dog. Solid riffs, great bass thats pushed in the front with the drums, everything is mixed really well. Overall, it has a real grit and an ambiance with a very aggressive tone that you would expect from either band. Start to finish is the best way to listen. Favorite track: Forest Crypt.
    thomasw_ thumbnail
thomasw_ Ildjarn did not write the material; the production changes & use of additional instruments & the style changes, suggest that it was Nidhogg’s work. Hate Forest make a very solid effort here, with production like the Ildjarn-half but carefully adjusted to sound distinctive. Their songs are standard BM that insert complex fills & transitions, & simplified chorus riffs. It achieves a relaxed atmosphere in which the focal point is the interruption, like a sunny sky with an intriguing cloud cluster.
