ChillyBuns Perfect example of dark music that just makes you wanna dance! I could listen to this album on repeat for years without ever getting sick of it. Favorite track: Dark Woman.
Madame Ravencroft - The Gothic Vampyre Empress (FM 98.5) thumbnail
Madame Ravencroft - The Gothic Vampyre Empress (FM 98.5) I MASSIVELY adore this band! They capture old school Goth PERFECTLY! A mixture the best of The Cure, Sisters of Mercy and Sonsombre. I would consider SexBlood a FANTASTIC entry into the Goth music universe. Half of their freshman album has bang on hits, not just the one I selected Silent Hill. I believe in this band and will be promoting it every chance on my mainstream Gothic radio show The Darkside at 98.5 CKWR FM (ckwr.com) with previous broadcasts found at visionsinsound.ca Favorite track: Silent Hill.

keeping me hypnotized on the dance floor.
    felipe_serra thumbnail
felipe_serra Luckily, I listened to the band before seeing their photos, as these would have made me think twice about tuning into their stuff. Personal preference in fashion, I guess, but you should never judge a book from its cover. This is actually very good stuff: strong as black beer, catchy like a giant mutant crab, loves you all night like a succubus. Favorite track: Belladonna.
    souvenirdeflorence thumbnail
souvenirdeflorence male tears gets it right everytime. each song on this album is a dance riot!! get yourself a goth album to relate to. Favorite track: Belladonna.

    modestwriggles thumbnail
modestwriggles I'd bought their latest album first, but I kept coming back to this one. There's this haunting, urgent energy here that keeps drawing me in. Yes, the comparisons to Siouxie seem inevitable, but this really shines a light all its own. A dark light, but a light nonetheless. Favorite track: AJO.
    gafne rostow thumbnail
gafne rostow A darkly psychedelic soundtrack to reading Jim Thompson novels late at night. Witchy harmonies and guitars that jangle like a pocketfull of blood red pennies. Favorite track: PYRAMIDS.

Very nice, heavy neoclassical music, dark chants and playful tracks like "The Weirdos Waltz", "Red Ridling Hood" or "Mischievous Minds" offer a nice change. Favorite track: Red Riding Hood.
