biscottins I got into Gizzard with a close friend of mine a few months before the Plovdiv shows. Between our commitments and the mess of planes, trains, and buses, seeing them was going to be a nightmare. In the end, we managed to make it all work. Once there, we weren’t sure if they’d play our favorite songs: Dragon for me, Flamethrower for him. Guess which songs they opened the first night with? I even took a picture with Amby! CAZZ E FORI.

Paul Szego Such a great, understated track. The percussion alone goes through about four different musical styles, elevating an otherwise very straightforward song structure into something much more organic, nuanced, and evocative. Favorite track: Please Take Me With You.
