Illweevil Dreams of Neo-Tokyo is a fun package that gives productions of several beloved synthwave acts the rare chance of shining together in high quality vocal songs. Another highlight is the synthwave remix of a synthwave cover of the classic Tears for Fears song Shout that gives it a fun twist with layers of synthwave action. Consistently nailing the gritty cyberpunk tones makes this vocal synthwave album a standout. Favorite track: Empty Streets (GosT Remix).

Jason Darklyte It's extremely interesting to see how all these specifically picked artists show their unique dynamics on each of these songs. Everywhere from the soft to the hard, the weird to the rad, all of these remixes are nothing short of intelligent and marvelously retro. Favorite track: Shout (Blue Stahli & Sunset Neon Remix).
