stexvxn Saw these guys in manchester with love rarely and the callous daoboys and the whole show banged, lots of energy, and they also had a saxophonist!! Gem alarm!!! Favorite track: PHD.

    J. Wright Reviews I try not to draw comparisons but I can't shake the fact that this album really reminds me of Callisto's 2009 album, Providence. There's a similar level of experimentation and dynamics with a western/Americana feel to some of the songs that makes me feel like I'm in the late 1800s/early 1900s, and that's a really good thing, in my book! Oh Hiroshima comes out swinging in "Wild Iris" and doesn't let up for the entire 43 minute runtime. Some very cool and creative post-rock on display here! Favorite track: Wild Iris.

JC J’avais déjà survolé l’album All Things Shining du groupe Oh Hiroshima sans grande conviction à sa sortie fin juin et j’étais passé à autre chose.

    Favorite track: Deluge.
    DLV thumbnail
DLV Feels like a natural evolution from Myriad, but a downgrade a whole. It's not bad, but I just won't have it on repeat like their previous releases. It would be unreasonable to demand perfection every time, or assume I'll gel with every album. Looking forward to their next effort. Favorite track: Deluge.

Birdboy Late Modest Mouse meets the bouncy bass line of art rock. Give me that strange. Rock flute, yes. Favorite track: Burn the Zoo.
    quasiotter thumbnail
quasiotter the timbre (is that the correct word) makes it feel like a standard indie band, but it's definitely not. there's weirdness that's not overt, it's... yeah, i'm not sure, but this is just really brilliant ok
    Editions Vaché thumbnail
Editions Vaché We just love this group! There are echoes of many influences- from Talking Heads to Gang of Four, even The Fall, but those are only the seeds planted to grow into BRNDA. They have had some time and space to grow from release to release, and now have a solid voice, and - we want to see them live !!!-ss/am Favorite track: Peach Pit.

nicholas Already loving this record. Resin214 in particular, that build and release around 2:40 is so dialed. The way it opens up into that looser groove and then snaps back into the pulse is just perfect. Favorite track: Resin214.
