Skylarkk “F it up” was my first exposure to Luis and the group of jazz musicians that encircle him. Now it is a favorite to listen to with my daughter on the way to drop her off at school. A great mentality with which to approach the vicissitudes of life. I’d rather get out there and risk F’ing it up than sit back in a “safe space” where my heart will grow cold and lifeless. Get out there people, even if you don’t know what you’re doing. Favorite track: F it Up (Live Sesh).

JazzmanJosh Louis Cole's Live Sesh is such a fantastic album to enjoy and listen to both critically and analytically. The sound is reminiscent of those basement jam sessions I had when I was still in high school (in a good way of course). Favorite track: They Find You.
    t0cktock thumbnail
t0cktock The genesis of the format of KNOWER's "Forever" album. "F it Up" is an upbeat force of powering through uncertainty. "Thinking" is a fun song to play pinball to. "My Buick" is like a pirates' war anthem set to the cadence of Led Zeppelin's "When The Levee Breaks". Favorite track: My Buick (Live Sesh).

pgaspar A full movie plays in my head every time I listen to this album. It's etched into my soul. Favorite track: Don’t Care (feat. Genevieve Artadi).
    wizardofwizards thumbnail
wizardofwizards This album is tight. Perfectly balanced, flowing from upbeat banger to upbeat downer, to downer, back to banger, this album is so well paced it's absurd. It also helps that every song hits home, as if Louis Cole ripped out my brain and synthesized it into this album. Pretty neat. Favorite track: I’m Tight.

orbitedbyerin This album altered my brain chemistry for a little while. Things was a song I needed to hear during a tough time. Favorite track: Things.
    benzoid tryptamine thumbnail
benzoid tryptamine Timeless could have been an equally worthy title. Genuine handmade music might have taken something of a hiatus where electronic wizardry had given it a good contest. There is always a place for raw expression and practiced excellence in music, especially when they arrive together. Favorite track: Night.

bwhitlat Such a mind-blowing amazing album! Thanks Louis, Genevieve and band. Favorite track: Freaky Times.
