betaversion96 the emotional climax to the history repeating albums is not be understated; proto man's soliloquies towards the end are some of the best songs i've heard in a while. this is an easy recommendation to anyone, mega man fan or not. just be sure to buy blue along with it :P Favorite track: Melody from the Past.

ZachVGM The Povo to Blue's Deus, this wraps up the story and completely recontextualizes MM3 for me. Dr. Light is a bad guy! Hard Man is a tragic hero! Proto Man is a deeply flawed, deeply relatable pivotal figure who could never exist in reality and yet feels like someone you already know! The catchy stage select screen is a lament of lost idealism, the cheerful "weapon get" song is a reveal of a tearjerking backstory, and the album is something you need more than you can know until you hear it. Favorite track: I Refuse (to Believe).

ZachVGM MM3 is a game with a premise, but no story; names, but no characters. Until The Megas got it. The characters are flawed and fascinating. The story is gripping. The music is haunting and catchy as hell. I've technically listened to other albums since I got this one, but not that many... Favorite track: Walk Away from Light.
