Stu Max
This album has become very special to me. It has a way of capturing my full focus and senses, every time.
Comparisons to Black Country, New Road are warranted but somewhat lazy, nods and lifts from mainstream acts like Arcade Fire, Sharon Van Etten and Bon Iver. This has edges and shades of Louisville (Rachels), Early Day Miners, Thee More Shallows etc.
I don't care if horny indie is trendy right now. This album is a delight and gets into deep places in my body that many albums don't.
Favorite track: Seminary.
