Gremlin Monroe How to make your day and mood instantly better: the guide with soundtrack Favorite track: Going Home (feat. Brandee Younger and Marcus Strickland).
    Rob O. thumbnail
Rob O. Lakecia knocks this one out of the park! She does justice to the music of John and Alice Coltrane. Excellent production with Lakecia and co-producer Reggie Workman. Yes, that guy, the legend! Lots of special guests with Jazzmeia Horn, Brandee Younger, Marcus Strickland and Dee Dee Bridgewater to name a few. One of the best releases of 2020! Perhaps the next release will be on vinyl? Music of this quality deserves it! Favorite track: Alabama.

gregvince If you ever feel like truly great jazz is on life support, I invite you to give this wonderful album a spin. I have spent the better part of my life listening to Coltrane and this belongs on the same shelf with those great works. it's more than a tribute, it's an extension.

    Nqobani T thumbnail
Nqobani T One of my favourite modern jazz projects, and probably my favourite from the British scene. Got a chance to see her perform live at the 2025 Cape Town International Jazz Festival, such an amazing artist. Favorite track: Triumphance.
    Tom Colquhoun thumbnail
Tom Colquhoun As the name suggest, this plays like the soundtrack to an epic film. Gentle but grandiose, with skittish drums that keep things moving. Weirdly for a sax-led band, the strings are very much in the forefront here. Favorite track: Clarity.
    majhium thumbnail
majhium Simply a brilliant album. The precision at every level from all artists here is stunningly beautiful. Nubya this is a masterpiece album in modern jazz. I can't have a favourite track here as it is the whole album that is my favourite track. Amazing! Thank you.
