    ernstlat thumbnail
ernstlat one of the best albums by Steve Roach - several songs from this album were included in the soundtrack of the trendsetting MMOFPS "Neocron", a cyberpunk MMO in the style of Deus Ex. This particular song - "Fall of the Moai" - was used as its main theme. Favorite track: Fall of the Moai.
    Larry Ullrick thumbnail
Larry Ullrick This is one of Steve's better CDs to me. because it was hard to pick a favorite among more than the usual average number of tracks. Favorite track: The Majestic Void.

trisdang My favorite celer album. The only thing that could beat the original was the expanded version lol. Not just my favorite celer project but my favorite album ever. Sounds like a perfect moment captured in time. Favorite track: Nights Left Out.
    v3n thumbnail
v3n No offense but Strings Behind is my go to song for when I cant sleep. It makes me fall asleep in less than 20 minutes on all those sleepless nights. I mean that in the best way possible Favorite track: Strings Behind.

perefredouille Beautiful chimes. The perfect soundtrack for your daydreams.
One must believe the notice ! Favorite track: Once A Common Effort.
    allieanasu thumbnail
allieanasu Light and mostly faint, this is like an airy companion piece to Folklore. Instead of dark, creepy tones this is mystical, relaxing, and a bit melancholic. Really exemplifies the wonder and self-reflection inherent to strange experiences. Perhaps the best solo release of the year from Peak, or at least my all around favorite already and one I know I'll grow into more Favorite track: Beyond The Edge Of Reality.

PadraigC A very easy release to get into with its gentle ambience and lush, layered sounds. What I really love about it is woven into all this, there are subtle elements of mystery, unease and the unknown.

    Evolutor thumbnail
Evolutor There is a real world existing we can't experience:Look at your screen and dive deeper and deeper to the reign of molecules, atoms, electrons and quarks and void spaces. Suddenly there is nothing any more that compares to your daily experiences: there are only forces, only fields, only probabilites. There is only quantum-uncertainty: this is the place of the Quantum-Cathedrals! So near and yet so far. So real and yet only imaginary... Max gave us an sonic impression of these worlds!
    Adam thumbnail
Adam On this album, Max returns to the spacier sounding themes of albums past, such as BreathStream, Lost Links, & The Talisman. One of his best releases to date! Favorite track: Quantum Cathedrals.
    Seb Forest Soul thumbnail
Seb Forest Soul Max gave this to me and I've been listening to it ever since almost every night. My favorite style of soundscapes to drift deep into the night and nourishing sleep. Favorite track: Quantum Cathedrals.

    lowercaseryan thumbnail
lowercaseryan There are several tracks on this album that just do not have great recordings on vinyl anywhere else. I would say overall these are good performances. My only little problem is the pianist on track 2 (Spiegel Im Speigel) abruptly releasing the low F. It's a small thing, but man it really sticks out...most other recordings I've heard (including others on this album) let it ring through to the next one. Favorite track: Speigel Im Speigel (Version For Cello And Piano).
    cj67 thumbnail
cj67 The rest of the world is too self involved to listen to what actual community members say (is there such thing as a community that isn’t hipster related anymore). I think community is a useless word. That’s been an obliterated by social media influencers , google, u-boob-tube etc. All:)
    Robert Bloemkolk thumbnail
Robert Bloemkolk Saw this modern dance performance the other day, using this music. Had to listen to the music again the next day. Found this absolutely wonderful album. The music sounds so simple. But it's magical. Favorite track: Speigel Im Speigel (Version For Violin And Piano).
