lowercaseryan There are several tracks on this album that just do not have great recordings on vinyl anywhere else. I would say overall these are good performances. My only little problem is the pianist on track 2 (Spiegel Im Speigel) abruptly releasing the low F. It's a small thing, but man it really sticks out...most other recordings I've heard (including others on this album) let it ring through to the next one. Favorite track: Speigel Im Speigel (Version For Cello And Piano).

Robert Bloemkolk Saw this modern dance performance the other day, using this music. Had to listen to the music again the next day. Found this absolutely wonderful album. The music sounds so simple. But it's magical. Favorite track: Speigel Im Speigel (Version For Violin And Piano).
