    timthetangent thumbnail
Favorite track: Yor Zarad.

Dlshfie0w an album I didn't realize I needed Favorite track: Seething and Scattered.
    Dududil thumbnail
Dududil The titans of sludge metal is back. This might well be their best work yet. Heavy, massive, and at times hypnotic. This is the album to hold onto in these desperate times. Favorite track: First Red Rays.
    Michael Carter thumbnail
Michael Carter This feels like a new beginning, forget about everything, just focus on this....passion and honesty, bare your soul....ignore ridicule, or tags that try to define you.....a portrait of a world....what's next?

    neel1988 thumbnail
neel1988 An epic journey through a plethora of drones but never losing rhythm. A mesmerizing experience from start to end. Ulver have shown that they can do drone well and have crafted beautiful waves of this sonic art. Favorite track: Blood, Fire, Woods, Diamonds.
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail

Favorite track: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.

  4. Through Aureate Void
    by Five the Hierophant
    supported by
    Saffron Robe thumbnail
Saffron Robe I was really taken by this band’s debut but lost track of them along the way which is to my great detriment since doom jazz is right up my dark alley! Shades of The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation and Bohren & der Club of Gore, but Five the Hierophant are much heavier than both and add their own indelible stamp to the genre.
    Arachosia thumbnail
Arachosia A sonic treat for those who enjoy any combination of metal and dark jazz.
There is nothing that I don't love about the entire album. It's dark, psychedelic and ambient, a perfect listening for those moody, contemplative late hours. Favorite track: Fire from frozen cloud.
    Mike Henson thumbnail
Mike Henson Free jazz meets doom metal as this wonderful band sets path to new musical vistas. An album that requires you really listen, this set of five songs slowly sets a dark yet uplifting mood. For lovers of both jazz and metal like me, this is a great and truly unique album.

    vegamorph thumbnail
vegamorph I love the recorded power of this album, capturing the bubbling and spitting distortion on top of those massive, rumbling drops. Its unbelievably epic in nature.
Sunn 0))) is like planets colliding, especially XXANN. Maximum volume truly does achieves maximum results. Favorite track: XXANN.
