aisthetic »Ecstatic Computation« aims for ecstasy in the literal sense: to go beyond your sense of self, to step away from it. It is a masterpiece, belonging in the canon of minimalist music. Favorite track: Fantas.
    sept sept zéro thumbnail
sept sept zéro once in a very long while one is lucky enough to stumble upon an artist that effortlessly combines an understanding of complex melodies with repetitive/arpeggiated analog synthesis. barbieri accomplishes this through sophisticated currents of soundscape that drift and occasionally dissipates into seemingly violent sonic events. this kind of music is difficult to do well, caterina is clearly a master of her craft. sublime. Favorite track: Fantas.

Salvatore Munzone I love how the whole thing was sort of ambiguous about the actual drukq.. until the horse sample at the end of the album telling you ''yeah it was about that all along!'' had me laughing!! ...also last opn album (most probably) couldn't not have it on vinyl! Favorite track: For Residue.

eliotcardinaux “There is a quality I would use to describe something going on in the music of Kali Malone. In Living Torch, I feel what I would call “the isness of what is happening,” breaching denial, inciting acknowledgement & caring, in the midst of devastation, & holding it still.”
