bmurator French Folk. Extremely far from my usual... :) This has a lovely 1970s feel to it & it is seriously addictive for me! The music is remarkably vintage & has a fantastic retro feel to it & is very comforting & atmospheric in many ways. The lyrics are deeply melancholic in places & almost desperate in many ways - especially the seventh track! I need a car like that one on the cover... :) The legendary "DS" - a car that truly defied all car design rules! Thanks l'anarchiste heureux! Recommended! Favorite track: PERSONNE NE REPOND.

  4. Don't All Look Up At Once
    by Ezra Bell

    pointedjack thumbnail
pointedjack It's all pretty evocative like most Ezra Bell songs, there's always a scene to imagine. Goat's Milk's Chorus is just very singable too, I like the energy and pace to it. I used to and sometimes still do sing it to myself in the car. It reminds me of one of my friends old dad who had his own ideas about the world and that he was certain were true. He was certainly a 'thinking' man who didn't trust the news. Favorite track: Goat's Milk.
    Charlotte McCaslin thumbnail
Charlotte McCaslin Excellent songwriting, beautifully arranged and recorded.
    cont3mplation thumbnail
cont3mplation Folk-y and heartfelt songs that make me want to dance and cry at the same time, a perfect mix of the two Favorite track: Dear Old Dad.

thermodon1 This one was my favorite LP back in the day. I got rid of all my LPs in 1990. I wish I hadn't done that. I`ll download it to an mp3 along with the others in the future. The only CD I purchased from June Appal was the cardboard one of Uncle Charlie Osborne, which was my other favorite. That album went too, but I still have the poster that came with it.

junoknuckles Imagine if Pat the Bunny had good recording quality. That is basically this album. Just more Pat, but better. Favorite track: I'm going home.
    vacaroni thumbnail
vacaroni I only discovered Pat’s music relatively recently, but since then, has become one of the only things I listen to. I am eternally grateful for owning this, and The Volatile Utopian Real Estate Market on vinyl.
    northwesternlights thumbnail
northwesternlights I love how cynical the album is, no one is free from Pat's judgment, least of all Pat. Favorite track: A glorious shipwreck.

blueberrybumblebee Every full listen of this album makes me appreciate it more. Realizing more and more the insidious ways in which is becomes clear that even your first time through wasn't the first time the "album"/ "mall" had been gone through. Here's to continuing to hope there's a way out for all of us. Favorite track: Latter-Stage Capital.
    imthehumanoid thumbnail
imthehumanoid This album became easily one of my favorite albums in general Favorite track: (The Myth Of (The Myth Of)) Sisyphus.
    mcdick700 thumbnail
mcdick700 great album, this song in particular reminds me of The Mountain Goats Favorite track: Escape From Möbius Strip Mall, Pt. 1.
