  1. Nicky Wire

richeychthonic I always love Nicky Wire's lyrics - their wisdom, wit, sadness, and rebellion. Wire ages almost painfully gracefully. This particular song feels like it was written for me (it probably wasn't) because of some letters and art I sent or tried to send Wire a long time ago when I was in a mental health crisis. In any case, it seems to be about someone who had the stupid and embarrassing experience of loving a famous stranger they know only from their art. Favorite track: YOU WEAR YOUR BROKEN HEART LIKE A DRESS.

antgent Love this! Reminiscent of my teenage love for those obscure Aussie bands The Triffids and The Go Betweens with a mix of Nicky Wire. Thankyou for the nostalgia and your soothing lyrics. Ant Bunurong Country, Australia Favorite track: AS THE LIGHT FADES AWAY.

funforme333 This is just the kind of music I love. I would love for you to have all your albums on Bandcamp. No one can take the music I love from me if I have it downloaded and backed up. Your music can be immortal with all of us together. Favorite track: Twin Fawn.
    duskbringer thumbnail
duskbringer 16 Psyche and Twin Fawn make this an essential purchase in my book. Chelsea bending that Gretsch then crunching it whilst proving she can sing half a dozen styles yet making you crave more of her own. Sex, death & vice vs the bigger picture and at the end of Twin Fawn absolutely tearing down the firmament. Crucial listening. Favorite track: 16 Psyche.

Ebbe Scovdahl John Grant is my disco daddy. I can’t wait to have him back in my life!

Now I’ve heard the whole album, all I can say is “fuck aye!” Cheers Mr Grant
    ShadowyMrEvans thumbnail
ShadowyMrEvans I hate to say this but the album is thoroughly disappointing. Too much voice modulation and not a memorable song among them. His first four albums are gold and these last two are forgettable. It's definitely not worth the shipping cost of the vinyl.
