    triplej26 thumbnail
triplej26 Well deserved remaster for one of the better album releases by Local H. The sound with these remastered tracks pop off in a more clear vibrant grunge rock fashion. Shifting away from the mainstream is the right move and shows the identity of Local H in a better light when they took on this fifth album Whatever Happened to PJ Soles.

This album is no brainer for those that enjoy a taste of Grunge Rock music. 🎸 Favorite track: That's What They All Say (2024 Remaster).

    Ioannis Valiakos thumbnail
Ioannis Valiakos Risen from the ashes of Egypt, this band is now a force to be reckoned in modern instrumental psychedelic rock. Massive riffs with a top notch sound and eastern influences in the vein of the almighty Camel and Atomic Rooster. I am not a keyboards person but there are brilliant moments in this album where the guitar converses with the keyboards, with songs like "White Hot Fever Dream" that would make Uriah Heep eat their hearts out. Definitely one of the albums of the month, check it out today! Favorite track: White Hot Fever Dream.
Pumpkin-T (Metal Intégral - DoomCharts) thumbnail
Pumpkin-T (Metal Intégral - DoomCharts) I'm neither very attracted to instrumental albums nor very attracted to keyboards and yet I love this album. No doubt this is due to a strong and unique personality of the music which mixes southern rock and Sabbatian doom. Surprising and endearing! Favorite track: Crowley Magick.

discordantbeaver They don't miss west of the Outback. I don't know how to describe the feeling that flits under my epidermis when "Bowling With Tim" hits that outro. Favorite track: Bowling With Tim.

Chris Bradley The saxophone on manipulator took a hold of me and really pointed out how much of an enhancement this album could be. I have now listened to it multiple times and I truly believe it does keep the heart and nostalgia of the first while adding intriguing and cool enhancements to these grungy tracks. A real tribute and revitalization. Favorite track: Manipulator.
