chimbis KMFDM is KMFDMing again!! Favorite track: OUBLIETTE.
    Headspike thumbnail
Headspike I'm a fan, a collector and a sucker! They put it out, I hear it, I hand over my money! At this point it pathological, can't stop even if I wanted to. This is a pure rock spin slathered with KMFDM DNA. The beats, the voices, Annabella Konietzko lends a falsetto on YOÜ, the spacey synths of the playful A Okay, a little DUB with Stray Bullet 2.0. Instrumental Gun Quarter Sue is 4:07 romp that feels like the opening credits of a television program based on the cover. I like this one, I really do. Favorite track: GUN QUARTER SUE.
    EvanDParlee thumbnail
EvanDParlee I knew KMFDM could do it again. great job guys! Favorite track: OUTERNATIONAL INTERVENTION.

jaydee2448 Solid album. Classic Good Riddance. Wish I could buy a CD lol, im old.
    davidgolbitz thumbnail
davidgolbitz This album opens with a brilliant quote from the 1992 movie "Sneakers," which has never felt more true than it does right now. Favorite track: There's Still Tonight.
    Sebastian Köller thumbnail
Sebastian Köller Took me a few hearing sessions, but damn once it clicked this album is pure Good Riddance. Melodic, aggressive, to the point and not a single second wasted. Can't stop listening. Favorite track: What Kind Of Day Has It Been.

    by Waldgeflüster
    supported by
    amorphisgarden thumbnail
amorphisgarden Wow. This is everything one could hope for in an Autumn themed black metal album... or any atmospheric black metal album. incredible emotion and music that brings you closer to nature by stripping away the BS of the world and making you feel something true.
    jobo1888 thumbnail
jobo1888 Everything I hoped it would be after the release of the first 2 singles. An incredible EP, 30 minutes of brilliance! Hard to set a favourite track, struggling to pick from Unter Brozenen Kronen, The Pit and Herbst Befiel Da Land

  4. Solace & Solitude
    by Valhalore
    supported by
    bloodkaika thumbnail
bloodkaika Impossible for me to pick a favorite track because each and every one of these songs has my heart in a deathgrip.
    Owen W thumbnail
Owen W In the recent trend of metal bands releasing folk EPs, Valhalore distinguish themselves from the rest by bringing the bombast from their viking metal sound to these folk compositions. Filled with lush strings, woodwinds, and harmonies, these songs still create a presence as powerful as Valhalore's metal songs, while showing how strong the band's melodies are by stripping back the presentation. With this EP, Valhalore have proven they can make acoustic music as captivating as their metal music. Favorite track: Guardians of Time (Acoustic).
    Arrogant Bastard thumbnail
Arrogant Bastard Is yet another folk/black metal band going soft on us? You better believe it and I couldn't be more pleased. Solace & Solitude is another idyllic acoustic rendition in the same vein as Winterfylleth, Oak Pantheon and Thrawsunblat's 2018 folky/acoustic compositions.
If you've even a passing interest in the above mentioned albums, this should vigorously tickle said fancy. Favorite track: Solace.

lorddjc Because Steven is teh punk rock AF!!!
    rockin500 thumbnail
rockin500 When Steven was saying this is going to be a different direction, I wasn't apprehensive because he always finds a way to succeed at the very least to provide something interesting. This time around, Stoneburner features more lyrics, while maintaining the same sonic energy to melt one's face off. 10/10 would get face melted off again! Favorite track: Sellout.

  1. Maiden, Mother, [CRONE] (EP)
    by Jordan Reyne
    supported by
    Andor69 thumbnail
Andor69 For me it's her best Album so far. The Songs seem so simple, but catch your mind and become more and more impressive every time you listen to them. I loved seeing her live in Leipzig at WGT 2015. Stunning! Favorite track: The Shadow Line.
    Russell Whyman thumbnail
Russell Whyman The blurb for this album states 'The "Maiden, Mother Crone" trilogy combines pagan imagery with modern narratives on women.'

While no doubt accurate it doesn't give much of an idea what the music actually sounds like. Jordan's work is dark, powerful and captivating in it's simplicity. For me she is not you average singer/songwriter or band. This is something unique.
    Rhokeheart thumbnail
Rhokeheart A singer songwriter that incorporates elements of rock and industrial into her music. Really unique and honest music! Favorite track: Dishonour Among Thieves.

    Russell Whyman thumbnail
Russell Whyman Another EP in the series exploring womanhood. Jordan Reynes music is very engaging, dark and packed with feeling while at the same time being very simple.

I have often seen the word 'honest' in reviews but her albums are the first time I have thought it to be the best way to describe them.

Have a listen. If this is your sort of music you won't be disappointed. Favorite track: The Ferryman.
    Rhokeheart thumbnail
Rhokeheart A singer songwriter that incorporates elements of rock and industrial into her music. Really good music! Favorite track: Rulers of Men.
    Michael Reilly thumbnail
Michael Reilly This EP musically captures the many aspects of the Mother; the wide expectations, multifarious roles, and the potential gains and losses of parental responsibility. Jordan's 'bloodthirsty' vocals shine as always – light and dark, and everything in-between. Favorite track: Rulers of Men.

  4. [MAIDEN], Mother, Crone (EP)
    by Jordan Reyne
    supported by
    Russell Whyman thumbnail
Russell Whyman A lot of the music in her live set came from these three EPs. They were done as a series exploring the different stages of womanhood.

The music is powerful and very dark. You can also find 'Shelter' on here which I think is my favourite of her tracks. Favorite track: Shelter.
    little smoke thumbnail
little smoke Sorry to hear you leaving your music making career Jordan and going off to find another path. I did finish getting my collection more complete of your great music tonight and I do hope in the future you surprise us with a little bit of your awesome talent even if it is just for a song or two. Best Wishes from the US. Favorite track: Shelter.
    Rhokeheart thumbnail

    graychylde thumbnail
graychylde I cannot listen to this song without crying. With our politics here in America being so scary, loosing rights as a woman, this song just gets me. Favorite track: Then They Came For You.
    shomac thumbnail
shomac Lovely to have Jordan recording new material again. Her sound is dark, layered, emotive beauty peppered with "found sound" and not quite like anything else.
    Favorite track: First Born Son.
    sumbuk thumbnail
sumbuk An eclectic practitioner of folk rock, of sorts; it's a pleasure to see Ms. Reyne releasing new material.

Darknight I had high hopes for this record and I have taken this straight to the top of my expectations, Guiltless create four tracks of bludgeoning sludgy doominess of pure darkness. Favorite track: In Radiant Glow.
    Blackened Cvlt Reality. thumbnail
Blackened Cvlt Reality. Sadly Neurosis may never return, however the apocalyptic thunderous darkened doom ladened rhythms of Guiltless has arrived. I don’t fear the future with Guiltless in it, I embrace it.
